The children competed in a number of events at 2022’s yearly Junior Taekwondo Championship. After meeting with the AAM Nation Care team, the athletes performed group exercises and choreographed fight sequences. But the highlight of the day was the sparring. The high-intensity matches gave the most talented young taekwondo practitioners a chance to show their athleticism, dexterity, and strength. The flying roundhouse kicks and tight jabs flew left and right as each competitor tried to score points by making contact with their opponent. The day was a celebration of the talented and honorable combat that made taekwondo an international phenomenon.

Held at Buraq High School, the youth of Lahore were able to compete at a variety of skill levels, with the crowd of athletes spotting, white belts, yellow belts, green belts and red belts. Eventually, two winners came out on top and proved themselves the best taekwondo sparring students in the tournament.

Once those two children worked their way up the Junior Taekwondo Championship tournament ladder and finished their intense sparring matches, medals were presented to the winners by the chief guest Abdullah Amanat Muhammadi, who was also honored at the event. He distributed trophies alongside other members of AAM Nation Care team, including Hassan Raza and Abu Bakar. The team was pictured alongside the taekwondo champions holding their trophies and sporting their medals, which featured the insignias and logos of the National Taekwondo Club of Pakistan and AAM Nation Care. Afterward, Abdullah Amanat Muhammadi was himself presented with a chief guest award, given jointly by the National Taekwondo Club Lahore and Buraq High School Lahore. During this presentation, all the other tournament participants were also presented with awards and given an opportunity to meet Abdullah Amanat Muhammadi and take more pictures.

After the tournament, Abdullah Amanat Muhammadi and his team also met with the Buraq High School principal. The show of support highlights the close ties between educational success, youth sports, and youth development.
