It holds NPO status under section 2 (36) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, as well as a tax exemption certificate from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Additionally, the foundation is registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Charity Commission under the Charities Act, 2019. Khpal Kor Foundation has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the Economic Affairs Division of Pakistan for orphan sponsorship projects and is certified as a non-profit organization by the Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP). K&P Consultancy Services, established in 2003, is a leading firm with extensive experience in development and planning consultancy. The founding senior partner has worked with major organizations such as the World Bank and Asian Development Bank, further enhancing the firm’s credibility.

K&P serves both national and international clients, focusing on providing high-quality consultancy services. The Pakistan Institute of Community Ophthalmology (PICO) and international NGOs, Christoffel-Blindenmission of Germany and Light of the World (LOW), enlisted K&P to assist in the reconstruction of a district headquarters hospital in Battagram, replacing one destroyed by an earthquake. K&P’s role involves fulfilling key terms of reference for the hospital’s establishment.
