This volunteer-run organization delivers food, medicine, cash, and other essential supplies to Cuban families in need. With no paid staff, the organization focuses solely on humanitarian aid, without engaging in political or policy matters. 

Over the years, Give2Cuba has helped thousands of individuals and partnered with companies like Expedia to implement philanthropic projects. Contributions to Give2Cuba help provide critical relief to Cuban communities.

Hope for Cuba

Hope for Cuba is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid and fostering connections between Cuba and the world. Its mission focuses on supporting health-related projects, promoting entrepreneurship, expanding cultural exchanges, encouraging scientific collaboration, and aiding in the normalization of relations with Cuba. 

Founded by Jorge Ignacio Fernandez, who was inspired by Pope John Paul II’s 1998 visit to Cuba, the organization seeks to enhance Cuban society by facilitating independent activities and humanitarian efforts that benefit the Cuban people directly.

HOPE FOR CUBA complies with U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, ensuring all necessary licenses are obtained for their missions. Winston & Strawn, LLC serves as the organization’s legal counsel to monitor OFAC compliance. The foundation strives to fulfill the vision of opening Cuba to the world and vice versa.

Music Fund for Cuba

The Music Fund for Cuba, a UK charity, supports the development of music, arts, and culture in Cuba. Since its founding in 2001 in memory of British singer Kirsty MacColl, who was inspired by Cuban music, the charity has provided essential equipment to young musicians, dancers, and artists in Cuba’s schools. It has raised over £350,000, including for the renovation of Havana’s Miramar Theatre.

Despite Cuba’s rich cultural heritage and free music and arts education, shortages of basic supplies like violin strings, ballet shoes, and paint hinder artistic growth, largely due to the ongoing U.S. economic blockade. The charity works to bridge this gap by delivering much-needed materials to nurture the next generation of Cuban talent.
