Food Ration Distribution Among Poor Families

Due to a number of factors including the global pandemic, environmental disasters, and various economic policies, there are approximately, according to the World Bank, 689 million people currently living in absolute poverty around the globe, and 700 million living on less than $1 U.S each day, and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

As you would imagine, with so many people living in poverty, there are a lot of people out there who are unable to access the basics of nutrition that they need to stay healthy, and sometimes even alive.

Here at AAM Nation Care, we care deeply about poverty, and we want to do everything we can to ensure that no one in our communities goes hungry. Of course, we are just a small organization, so we cannot yet help everyone, but we do our best to feed those who need to be fed.

Feeding deserving families

At AAM Nation Care we have made it our mission to locate deserving families with a view to distributing food rations to them. That way, we know that they are at least getting some of the nutrition they need at a time when they are struggling and perhaps need it the most.

It is a known fact that when people are not able to get enough calories, or when they are nutrient deficient, they are more likely to become sick and frail. This often means they cannot go out and work to provide for their families, which keeps them in a vicious circle where they are malnourished so they can’t work, which means they can’t buy food so they can’t eat and get well. AAM Nation Care knows how soul-destroying this vicious circle can be, which is why we are dedicated to providing food rations to as many families as possible for as long as possible.

We don’t think that, in 2021, anyone should be starving or developing issues like Ricketts, diabetes, blindness, or stunted growth because they cannot get a good meal into them. We DO believe that no matter who you are or where you came from, you deserve the best chances in life, which is why we do what we do.

As well as offering food rations to deserving families, we also make monetary donations and free courses so everyone, no matter who they are can have the same chances that we have had and build a better life for themselves and their families.
